All roads lead to Rome....
At least that's what they say. Please pray for me as I discern whether I should go on a pilgrimage to Rome/Vatican City and Assisi. I am very excited as our priest is leading a pilgrimage there in October and I am welcome to come. Obviously the cost is expensive (looking around 3 thousand), so I will have to give this some prayer. Though I promise my readers to get some good pictures while I'm there and maybe I can get a close up of the Swiss Guard!!!

No discernment necessary - it's worth any sacrifice... GO TO ROME !

I have been once (so far... I will go back) and standing in St Peter's Square at night just moved me to tears...

So GO... and take photos to share with the rest of us!!

If you have the opportunity, maybe you should go. We want to do that when Joey graduates from high school.

What a wonderful opportunity to go on such a pilgrimage. I hope you find a way to make it work!!

I want to go to Rome w. Fr. Erik on his pilgrimage. I was taking up a collection on my blog for awhile, even set up a paypal account... yeah, that little ingenius idea didn't work. Looks like I'll have ot fund my adventures some other way.

Good luck jumping the pond.

Thanks everybody for the advice! I'm definately planning on going, though if it doesn't work out then I know the Lord's Will will be done.

you know if you cant make the pilgrimage you can still go for considerably cheaper & stay at monasteries or convents that double as VERY affordable hotels.
